After Thermopylae (British cartoon, 1941)

Additional information: The cartoon was published in the wake of the 1941 Battle of Thermopylae, that saw Australian and New Zealand troops battle the invading Germans as they executed an ultimately successful retreat. The Germans continued their advance south, capturing Athens two days after the end of the battle.
