The first task is to win the war (Spanish poster, 1936)

Text: The first task is to win the war.

Year: 1936.

Publisher: Madrid Defence Council.

Artist: Kantos.

Additional information:
Spanish poster from the Spanish Civil War showing five hands holding up their bayonets against Republican flags. Clockwise from top left, the flags appear to be those of the anarchist CNT-FAI, the Communists, the Unified Socialist Youth (or possibly generic socialist) and the Spanish Republic. The poster was one of many issued by the Madrid Defence Council urging unity among the Republican’s various factions during the war.
