Additional information: Illustration showing the Red Army being greeted by crowds as it enters Poland in September 1939. Published on the cover of ‘Around the World’ (Вокруг света) geographic magazine. Much of the issue details the ‘Glorious Results’ of the Red Army in ‘Western Ukraine and Western Belarus’ in September, with some further reports from Mongolia, where the Soviets had that year been fighting with the Japanese.
