Artist: William Balfour-Ker.

Additional information: The illustration depicts the masses breaking into a lavish, upper-class party from below. Published in The Silent War, a novel by John Ames Mitchell, it was widely reproduced in left-wing publications. William Balfour-Ker later worked for newspapers, magazines such as Life (co-founded by Mitchell), and the government during WWI, designing propaganda posters.
