Additional information: Illustration shows Ireland riding past Dublin’s General Post Office carrying the tricolour. On the horse’s bridle you can see ‘Sinn Fein’ written. The postcard was published in the wake of the Easter Rising of 1916 when Irish Republicans rebelled against British rule
