Additional information: The illustration, featured on the cover of the US magazine ‘Gidra’, depicts a mother holding her baby, a small book, and a weapon. The quote is from a poem by Ho Chi Minh. Gidra was a revolutionary newspaper in California from 1969-72, focusing on Asian and Asian-American issues, including coverage of the Vietnam War and the anti-war movement.
