Italian postcard, 1930s

Text: NA.

Year: undated, ca. 1930s.

Publisher: NA.

Artist: Guido Grilli?

Additional Information: Shows a centaur leaping across a trench during a battle. The postcard seems to be a later redesign of one illustrated by Guido Grilli and issued in 1932 by the army officers’ engineering school (Scuola allievi ufficiali di complemento del genio). The Latin text, which also appears in the above, reads ‘Virtue is equal to genius’.
